On Friday, August 10, James Larsen Fairbanks was welcomed by his parents, Mike & Rebecca. He was born at 7:10 AM, weighed 8# 4 oz. and was 19-1/2" long.

Whenever we moved him so we could take turns holding him, he would screw up his face and start to fuss, but then would settle back down with a bit of rocking. He obviously didn't like being moved! But he seems to be a very mellow little guy and during the times we visited he slept like a . . . well, like a baby!
He has a bit of dark hair under his cap. For now he looks quite a bit like his proud daddy, but we shall see as he gets older!
As to his name, Rebecca has always liked the name James, and it was just serendipity that Mike's middle name is James. The Larsen comes from the Wilson side - Mike's grandpa Wilson's middle name is Larsen, after his mother, Alice Cloe Larsen Wilson.
